Should be interesting to see if applications decrease without MCAS.

Yes and the MCAS scores of many vocational education schools outperformed sending districts. The smaller class sizes and increased emphasis on academics ( adding more advanced placement classes for example) increased applications to the voc -Ed schools and resulted in many to call for a review of admissions processes that were winnowing out students who traditionally benefitted from them. Why? SST students had to pass MCAS. It’s a public school.
